It is important to keep the blades of a blender or food processor clean.

The dirty blades will make the appliance work much less well. Here are 5 easy steps to follow!
How to keep the blades of a blender or food processor in good shape and clean them:
1) Blender: When you clean it, make sure nothing is inside and that nothing is stuck to the rim.
2) Pour a half cup of liquid over the blades and let them soak for a minute before turning the blender on. This is what most people call the “liquid blade cleaner” method. Pour 2 cups of liquid on top of the blade of a non-traditional blender and let it sit for 2 minutes.
3) While processing, throw any leftover pieces of fruit or vegetables that are stuck to the blades onto the counter and into the trash can. Run clean water over the top so that the pieces fall back into place with each throw.
4) Use a scrub brush and cold water to clean them.
5 Most of the time, the blades on these machines can’t be taken off, making it hard to clean and maintain them.

There are, however, a few things you can do to keep your blender working well. How do you clean the blades of a blender?
Most blenders and food processors have a ring around the blade to keep it from getting hurt.
1. Turn on the blender and set it to a slow speed. Attach the blender blade and spin it slowly in a circle.
2. Wait a few seconds, then turn the blender part off and slowly take it out of the blender. Once it’s out, put it back in.
3. Pour 2 cups of cold water into the machine’s housing, then turn the machine back on and set it to fast washing speed (5100 rpm) for 10 minutes.
4. Take out the cleaned splash pool and fill it with lubricants.
